Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

Jen Cuddington is a somatic focused counsellor who supports people in reconnecting with themselves through the wisdom of the body.

With over 13 years of experience in hands-on bodywork—including Craniosacral Therapy (CST), Massage Therapy (RMT), and Somato-Emotional Release (SER)—Jen has a deep understanding in the importance of connecting with the body during counselling and emotional processing. Her background also includes work in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, further shaping her understanding of the body as both resilient and deeply communicative.

Jen works with a wide range of experiences, including trauma, chronic illness, grief and loss, anxiety, chronic pain, head injuries, and symptoms that may feel confusing or hard to explain. At the core of her work is the understanding that many of these experiences are not signs that something is “wrong,” but invitations to gently listen to what the body is holding.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing doesn’t come from fixing ourselves, but from learning how to be with ourselves—with honesty, compassion, and curiosity. Through a somatic lens, she supports clients in slowing down, turning inward, and building a relationship with their inner world. It is in this space that insight, release, and meaningful change can begin to unfold.
